This strain has a terpene profile high in limonene and pinene, which offers a calming and medicinal effect without being sedative. The genetic lineage of Old Toby is difficult to trace due to the lengthy breeding process Gordon went through. Fans of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit may recognize Old Toby as the pipe-weed Gandalf used.
